The C57CS replaces the much loved C55CS which was in production for more than 10 years and became a favourite amongst long-distance cruisers who wanted to spend extended period living aboard their yacht. The 57 offers several interior layouts based around 3 or four cabins and various options for nav-station/office area but is still eminently sailable by a couple. Its performance is a major step-up from the previous generation.
