Charles Watson has 35 years experience in the Marine industry starting with Camper & Nicholsons in the 1970s and going on to co-found Ancasta Marine; the original Contest distributor. After leaving Ancasta in 1990 he decided to establish a specialist agency representing complementary ranges of top flight European sailing yachts in the UK and Ireland. It is on this foundation that our exclusive agencies for Winner and Contest from Holland and Wauquiez and Tofinou from France are founded. His colleagues Tim D'Alton and David Rivett have another sixty plus years experience in and around sail boats of all types. Joy Cann, who runs our office has been sailing for more years than she cares to remember and until recently sailed a Westerly based in Ocean Village.

Previously owned boats are also an important part of our business and to this end we have our own in-house independent brokerage based in Hamble and run by Tim D'Alton. It specialises in quality cruising boats and obviously has particular strength in previously owned Wauquiez, Contests and Tofinous. We are the UK portal for Contest’s global brokerage and we maintain an association with De Valk international brokerage, we are ABYA members and also part of several international brokerage networks giving access to several thousand listings as well as exposure for our own brokerage boats.
